New Year, New Goals!

The new year is here! For many of us, this means gym memberships, diet changes and breaking bad habits. We often wait until after the holidays to make major changes our eating or exercise routines, but why make it harder than it has to be? There are simple changes you can start making today, that have a big impact on how you look and feel.

We’ve put together ideas to kickstart your New Year’s resolution.

  1. Grab a friend: Joining the gym is not the only option for physical activity. Schedule a daily walk, jog or yoga class with a supportive and motivated friend. Aim for 30 minutes of exercise every day.

  2. Establish mini goals: One large goal may be intimidating or unrealistic. Create a list of small goals that can be incorporated into your daily routine.

  3. Shop smarter: Plan meals ahead and create a shopping list before going to the store. Also, avoid grocery shopping when you’re hungry. More junk foods are likely to end up in your cart.
